Question by rashere: Why do some men put sex above love?
Sometimes it seems like men would choose sex over love in a way that they might defer from taking the next step up in a relationship when they don't get enough sex. Why is this?
I realize that it's natural for men to be more sexually driven than women, but it still confuses me. Because I believe that human beings should want love above all else, and before a man is a guy he is a human being, isn't he?

Oh my. The age old problem of the sexes.
Many men do want love and will forgo the sex. I haven't met any though. I guess the way sex is flapping out there in the wind for all, it is too easy for them. And men are better at separating sex and love as well. To them it can be just a physical thing, where with women, it is more of an emotional comitment.
I have found in my advanced age that most men care only about themselves and their own gratification. But then I am a bitter old woman now.
